I’ve been running since I was seven years old, and I’ve worn a lot of different leggings and shorts during training sessions. I’ve always preferred running in shorts because my legs feel less restricted and my strides feel freer. But all the shorts I’ve ever tried ride up as soon as I take my first stride. I’ve been on the hunt to find a good pair for years, and I’ve finally found a pair that I love: The Nike AeroSwift Tight Running Shorts.
What I love about these shorts is that they’re extremely light, and the fabric moves with you, not against you. I also love that they aren’t too short or too long, which in my opinion is a really hard box to check. Most importantly, they don’t ride up when you’re running or moving. I’ve worn them for all types of runs—from five-mile runs to sprint workouts—and they’ve never failed me. No matter the intensity, distance, or duration of my running workouts, the Nike AeroSwift Tight Running Shorts stay put, which allows me to focus all of my attention on my workout.

As for the fit, I recommend taking your true size. “Their tight, stretchy design gives you support while you focus on your run,” the Nike product description says. I can attest that they are both stretchy and supportive, which is a win-win in my books. If you’ve ever found yourself constantly readjusting your shorts for comfort and to make sure they don’t ride up or sag, you’ll never experience that again when exercising in these Nike running shorts. I love them so much, I’ve purchased them in every color, and it’s safe to say I can’t get enough of them.
